What insurances do you accept?

MCHC takes most major insurances including Medicaid, Medicare, Buckeye (HMO plans), CareSource (HMO plans), AultCare and many more. If you do not see your insurance listed, please call us at 330-363-6242 for the Canton office or 234-386-0306 for the Magnolia office to verify whether MCHC is a provider for your insurance plan.

We are not a provider for The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.

I do not have insurance. Can I receive care at MCHC?

Yes. MCHC provides care to everyone regardless of ability to pay. We have a sliding scale fee program based on income and family size. If you need more information, please call 330-363-6242 for the Canton office or 234-386-0306 for the Magnolia office and ask to speak with our insurance representative.

Do you provide medical care to infants and children?

Yes. We provide care to children in our Family Medicine department.

How do I reach MCHC after the office is closed?

Call 330-363-6242 our answering service can contact the on-call provider for any medical issues afterhours.

How do I get my prescription refilled?

It is important that you request medication refills before you run out of the medication. Please call 330-363-6242 for the Canton office or 234-386-0306 for the Magnolia office and ask for the prescription refill line. Be prepared to provide your first and last name, the name of your pharmacy, the name of the medication and a phone number where we can reach you with questions. Please allow two business days for us to process your request.

You may also contact your pharmacy to request a refill. The pharmacy will send MCHC an electronic refill request.

If you are requesting a refill for narcotics or opioids, the law requires that you pick up a written refill request at our office.

Are you accepting new patients?

Please call the office at 330-363-6242 for the Canton office or 234-386-0306 for the Magnolia office to schedule a new patient appointment at MCHC. We will schedule an appointment with a provider who is accepting new patients.

Where do I park?

Canton Office: Free patient parking is provided in the lot next to our building on Clarendon Avenue. You will be given an exit voucher at the time of your appointment.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please call us at least 24 hours in advance.

Where is the MCHC Pharmacy Located?

It is located in the waiting area of My Community Health Center Canton office.

What are the Pharmacy hours?

MCHC Pharmacy is open 8:30-5 Monday through Friday. Pharmacy is closed for lunch from 12:30-1 p.m.

Does MCHC Pharmacy deliver?

Yes, we do FREE prescription delivery to those within a 20 mile radius of MCHC on Wednesdays between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. The driver will call or text you before the delivery to give you a 30-minute window. You must be present at home to receive and sign for your prescriptions.
